Happy Halloween!
Tonight the border between worlds is thinner — but deep underground, no one notices the difference. Low Res Studio is finishing up music and levels among half-built streets and abandoned tunnels, while details nobody drew keep turning up in the morning drafts. Don't trust familiar voices, and don't answer if the darkness calls you by name.
They say that on this night the border between worlds grows thinner. But deep underground, no one notices the difference.
These last days have passed among unfinished streets, abandoned tunnels, endless lines of code and pixels. In between, we write music for new levels, work through guitar parts, experiment with synthesizers, and sink deeper and deeper into this strange underground world. Sometimes it feels as though it exists independently of us. Monitors keep glowing in the old corridors. Behind closed doors, someone is moving furniture. Writing appears on the walls that no one left there. And on familiar streets, passages turn up that weren't there yesterday. The locals behave as if all of this is perfectly normal. They go about their business, strike dubious deals, and prefer not to notice what happens beyond the lit streets.
Of course, everything can be explained. Bugs in the code, unfinished scenes, fatigue after long hours of work. But sometimes, going back to yesterday's sketches, we find details that none of us drew. The strangest part is that they fit the overall picture perfectly. Then again, today is Halloween. Perhaps some things are better left unexplained.
Don't trust familiar voices. Don't follow the light. And if someone in the dark calls you by name — don't answer.
Happy Halloween! Low Res Studio
P.S. We're still watching you. You never noticed how your life moved to the other side of the monitor glass.
